#4. Anthony Brown, Cornerback
Anthony Brown had an excellent training camp performance this summer, possibly the best of the entire team. And that’s timely news as he’ll likely be targeted more than he ever has been in his previous six-year NFL career. Why?
Brown is set to start opposite Trevon Diggs this season. Diggs is coming off an epic performance in 2021 where he earned both a first-team All-Pro nomination and Pro Bowl honors after leading the NFL with a monstrous 11 interceptions.
Needless to say, opposing offenses will be actively avoiding whichever side of the field the fabulous Mr. Diggs is covering. And instead, they’ll be targeting Brown much more often. Even the legendary Tom Brady.
The good news is the 28-year old veteran cornerback appears to be more than ready to handle any extra workload opposing offensive coordinators decide to send his way. And a big performance by Brown against Brady will set the rest of the league on notice. This secondary is special.
