The Dallas Cowboys are NFC East champions. They secured that title over the holiday weekend following their Week 16 blowout victory over their divisional rivals, the Washington Football Team, to the tune of 56-14.
Scoring 21 points in each of the first two quarters of the deciding ballgame, the Cowboys cruised to victory for much of the contest leading 42-7 at halftime. As a result, the Dallas sidelines were a round the clock celebration for much of the game.
And cameras captured all the antics during the prime time Sunday night matchup. In fact, the good folks over at DallasCowboys.com recently released a highlight reel on their official Twitter page that features many of those reactions from the sidelines. Check it out below …
With only two games left in the regular season and a guaranteed spot in the postseason, it will be interesting to see just how the Cowboys’ coaching staff will manage the playing time of their starters moving forward. While a playoff bid is already ahead of them, placement in the postseason is still to be determined. So the coaches will have to weigh playoff positioning against the health of their most valuable players.
